What does IsoSpeed do?
IsoSpeed, introduced in 2012 with the Domane model bike, aims to reduce the harshness of the road and increase the rider’s endurance during a race. It’s an upgraded design on the diamond-shaped bike frame that allows the seat tube to “flex” with the road since they are both decoupled. Bikes with the newly designed IsoSpeed performed better during races that ran through gravel, cobblestone and dirt roads. It reduces fatigue giving the user a smooth riding experience over various terrain.
