Description
Adventure bikes are meant to take the rider on a journey, a journey filled with thrilling and adrenaline pumping moments. The A1: adventure bike promises riders that and much more. The bike is designed for both off and on road purposes. It can handle different terrains and provide riders with the ultimate joy of riding a full equipped adventure bike.
The A1: adventure bike is versatile and can be rode through different trails, be it city roads or off beat mountain tracks. The bike can handle high and low terrains with ease and never fails to outperform. The adaptable and lightweight frame consists of all the essential components one would expect to find in a high quality adventure bike.
Structure and frame
The bike is built in a classy and iconic way. The aluminum fork and frame is light weight (Approx. 23lbs). The aluminum is industry graded and the bike is fitted with tubes which are double butted. The bike is equipped for full fenders and rear racks. There’s a cage mount for storing two bottles. The shift and brake cables are routed internally to avoid exposure with terrain particles. The frame also has a chain guard which helps to place the chain on the front outside part of the bike and comes in 3 sizes for different heights of riders.
Brakes
The bike is fitted with MD M300 disc brakes which are actuated by cables. The brakes offer enough friction to lower the speed in all types of terrain and weather. The front and rear has 160mm rotors which is easy to install.
Drivetrain and gear range
The bike is fitted with a SRAM Via Centro 1×10 train drive and has a 11-36ft cassette and a 42t single ring. The gears function with a single trigger and provides shift in speed.
Tires
The bike has Kenda Flintridge tires in 700x40mm. Tires are fitted onto sturdy rims which are laced to the bearing hubs. The clearance is enough to keep mud off the rider. There is space for installing fenders by downsizing the tires.
Accessories
The pedals come with nylon coating to ensure friction when pedaling. The saddle has steel rails which provide comfort and guard while sitting. The handlebar is 710mm wide and is covered in Krayton grips which are ergonomic.
The bike also comes in 6 different color options and 2 different colors for the components. This allows for a fully customized experience in owning the bike.
