The MARIN NAIL TRAIL E1 BIKE 2020 is a reasonably priced electric bike which is designed for quickly climbing up and down hilly terrain, trails and other surfaces. The bike is available in four different sizes, extra large, large (L), medium (M) and small. The small size is suitable for riders of height 5 feet 3 inches and above.
The electric trail bike has an alloy frame made from series 3 6061 grade aluminum alloy. This hydro-formed frame is both durable and light in weight. The frame has a short chain stay for greater flexibility while riding. Dropper post is routed internally. The geometry of the bike is low and long. The handlebar is made from 6061 grade Aluminum double butted, 28 mm rise and 780 mm in length. The 35 mm stem of the bike is made from forged metal. Marin locking grips, single clamp type are installed. The bike has nylon platform type pedals. Exact dimensions for each bike will vary depending on size selected.
The Rockshox Fork Recon RL type has 140 mm travel with a provision for rebound, compression adjustment and solo air spring ensures a comfortable ride on all terrains. The motor installed in the electric bike is E8000 Shimano Steps. The motor is powered by a 500 Wh capacity Shimano E8010 battery. The shifters, rear derailleur and drive train used are from Shimano Deore with 10 speed options. The Sunrace 10 speed cassette has 11-46 teeth. The bike uses a KMC X10 chain and Marin forged alloy crank set. The electric bike has Shimano hydraulic disc brakes type BR-MT201 with 203 mm rotors for quickly halting the bike whenever required.
The 27.5″ marin aluminum wheel set with double walls and pinned joints is used in the bike. The wheel set is compatible with tubeless tires and is a 6 bolt disc. The recommended tires are Vee Crown Gem tires which 2.8″ wide X 27.5″ diameter. These tires have a folding bead and are tubeless for better traction, fewer flats and longer life. The bike has the Tranzx YSP18 model dropper post, which allows the cyclist to easily adjust the saddle height whenever required. The speed concept marin saddle is installed in the bike and it is fixed with the a marin seat clamp.The bike is available in orange and black color
