Marin Rift Zone 1 Bike

The Rift Zone is our most speed oriented MultiTrac bike, created for the rider looking for the speed and roll over capabilities of 29” wheels in a trail capable package.

Marin Rift sone 1 Bike is a trail bike which is designed so that the rider can climb efficiently and descend safely without losing control of the bike on different terrains at high speeds. The bike is available in different sizes – small, medium, large, extra large, so that the rider can choose the right bike based on his height. The bike is multicolored, grey, black and blue in color

Frame & style

The bike has a frame made from aluminum 6061 series 3 which combines durability and strength while keeping weight low. The frame is designed for boost spacing and has cables which are routed internally to reduce rattling noise. The bike has a KMC X11 chain and a handlebar which is 780 mm long. The stem is made from 3D forged alloy. The seat post is also made from an alloy and has a quick release seat clamp. The fork used is Rockshox RL Recon Silver while a X-fusion Rear shock is used in the rear.

Derailleur & brakes

The bike has a Shimano Deore drive train, with 11 speed options, which will perform well on all terrains, including steep climbs and other rough terrains. The bike does not have a front derailleur, it only has a Shadow Plus SGS Shimano Deore rear derailleur. The bike has Shimano hydraulic disc brakes type BR-MT201, which allows the user to quickly and safely stop the bike whenever required.

Wheels & tires

The bike has 29″ wheels for greater speed and comfort. The wheel set has Marin Double Walled Aluminum Rims with Shimano MT200B and MT400B Hubs. These are used with Crown gem Vee tires which are 2.3″ thick. If required, these tires can be configured as tubeless, so that the rider can use the tires without tubes, reducing the tire pressure, so that the rider has better traction, fewer flat tires and a more comfortable ride.
