Norco SIGHT VLT A1 29

The Norco SIGHT VLT A1 29 mountain bike is an aluminum electric mountain bike from Norco which is designed for easy climbing and smooth descent on mountains and similar terrains. The bike has wheels of size 29″ for improved traction and stability. Taller people can choose the large or extra large size of the bike, while others can opt for the small and medium size of the bike. The bike design based on Norco’s Ride aligned trademarked system, allows the cyclist to adjust the settings for optimal performance of the bike. The bike is red and black in color.

The entire bike frame is made from aluminum to keep the weight low and for greater strength. The handlebar and stem are made by Norco, with the 800 mm long handlebar made from 6061 grade aluminum. The TranzX YSP-39JL dropper post allows the cyclist to adjust the height of the seat, and the seat height adjustment varies depending on the bike size chosen. Both the Fork and rear shock from Rockshox are designed for use in electric bikes. The chain, rear shifter and rear derailleur are from the SRAM SX series. 4 piston Hydraulic brakes from Shimano, MT 250 type are used for reducing the speed, or halting the bike.

The motor used in the bike is the Shimano STEPS E8000 which can be used in three different modes depending on the pedal assistance which is required. Boost is used for most additional electric power is required by the cyclist, trail is the medium power level and eco the lowest level. A display is provided which indicates the mode and other parameters. The in tube battery for the bike is rated at 630Wh and a range extender can also be installed. The rear, front hubs for the bike are of type HB-6010 from Shimano Deore. Maxis Minion tires of width 2.5″ and 2.4″ are used for the front and rear wheels of the bike.
