The RANGE VLT C3 is an electric bike designed for those who use their bike for climbing up and down mountains, trails, rocky and other rough terrain. The bike’s performance for riding downhill is comparable to specialized downhill bikes. The bike is designed using the ride aligned system from Norco, so that it can be customized to match the weight, height, riding style of the cyclist. The bike with 27.5 ” wheels is available in three sizes medium, large and extra large, and the cyclist should the right size based on his height and weight. The color of the bike is dark/electric blue.

The bike frame is made from Carbon to keep the weight low, though the 6061 Aluminium is used for the handle bar. The geometry of the bike including the head tube angle and the seat tube angle have been designed, to increase the forward weight distribution. A TranzX dropper post with one lever is provided to adjust the seat height as required. The front fork is Rockshox Yari and the rear shock absorber used is Rockshox super-deluxe coil R. The drive-train and rear derailleur are SRAM Eagle, 12 speed type for reliability. Hydraulic 4 piston Shimano BR 520 brakes are provided for halting the bike.

The electric bike has a Shimano Steps motor E7000 and the intube battery is rated at 500 W. An 360W extender pack is also available for the battery, which will increase the range by up to 70%. The front hub of the bike is from Shimano Deore, and the rear hub is is of type DT Swiss. The 27.5 inch rims are are from e*thirteen LG1 suitable from downhill riding. The front tire and rear tire are from Maxxis Assegai and are of width 2.5” each. The front tire is of type 3C Maxx Terra while the rear is of type 3C Maxx Grip to improve the grip. Hence this is the ideal electric bike for mountain biking, endurance racing.
