Description

There are fewer things that can compare to the feel of flying down the trails on a mountain bike. Doing it on the Trek Marlin 5 Hardtail Mountain Bike only enhances the experience that much more. It has is a perfect fit for any rider.

The rugged quality make this the perfect bike for new trailblazers. The Bontrager XR Endurance Comp Grips make it easy to hold on and not let go, when you’re trying to maintain an awesome line across harsh landscape of the backcountry. And with a 100mm travel in the front suspension fork, the bike makes easy work of any rough trails and hard terrain.

Don’t think that the only thing this bike is good for is the backcountry. With these clean lines and beautiful finish, this bike is a comfortable ride for the everyday commuter as well. At only 32.17 lbs, you can easily maneuver through city traffic or around hairpin turns on the trails. Having 21 speeds allows you to navigate up and down the small hills of any town or up the mountains.

The Marlin 5 is outfitted with some of the coolest gear that bikes currently have to offer. The brake cables run through the shaft, preventing snags and cleaning up the design of a conventional bike. The Blender Stem allows you to attach a GoPro or other similarly mounted helmet cameras to the handle bars without needing additional mounts.

No one wants their cool, clean bike with the crisp lines to get scratched up because you had to lay it on the ground or lean it against a brick wall. You can keep your bike looking fresh thanks to the Chainstay mount. With this mount you’re easily able to install a kickstand to the rear of the bike.

This bike has something for everyone. It’s a cool commuter and it a seriously awesome trail thrasher. No matter what your adventure the Marlin 5 is perfectly suited for your needs.
